We have received the following sad news from the Pandit family in Leicester, UK:
Mohanlal Naranji Pandit
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved father Mohanlal Naranji Pandit on Saturday 17th April at the age of 90.
A beloved father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather, Mohanbhai was born in 1931 in the small town of Nagka, India. He also resided in East Africa, Shinyanga, Tanzania (where his children were born), India again and then lastly in Leicester, UK.
Mohanbhai passed away peacefully after a short period of illness and stay in hospital.
He will be greatly missed by their three sons and daughters-in-laws: Prakash and Bhavna, Girish and Jyotika, Harish and Mina. Daughter and son-in-law: Hansa and Jitendra Modha.
He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current travel/social distancing rules by the UK government, we humbly request our dear family and friends to refrain from visiting the family residence.
Finally, the Pandit family wishes to thank everyone for their messages of support at this difficult time.
