Indumati (Radhaben) Mohanlal Pandit
1937-2020
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Shrimati Indumati Mohanlal Pandit on Monday 27th April at the age of 83.
A beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother – ‘Baa’ as she was affectionately known to her family and ‘Radhaben’ to her friends and relations.
Radhaben was born in the 1937 in a small town called Rojda, India. She also resided in East Africa, Shinyanga, Tanzania (where her children were born), India again and then lastly in Leicester, UK.
Radhaben passed away peacefully after a short period of illness and stay in hospital.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Mohanbhai and their three sons and daughters-in-laws: Prakash and Bhavna, Girish and Jyotika, Harish and Mina. Daughter and son-in-law: Hansa and Jitendra Modha.
She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current travel/social distancing rules by the UK government, we humbly request our dear family and friends to refrain from visiting the family residence. A Prathna Sabha will be held at a date in the future.
Funeral Arrangement.
The funeral arrangement is as follows:
- Place: Great Glen Crematorium, 9 London Rd, Great Glen, Leicester LE8 9DJ.
- Date: Monday 4th May, 2020.
- Time: 9.30am.
Due to the current travel / social distancing rules by the UK government, funeral attendance is restricted to only 10 very close family members.
The family therefore humbly request their dear distant family and friends to refrain from visiting the family residence and attending the funeral.
As the Antim Sanskar (final rites) is performed, our thoughts and prayers will be with the family at this sad time, and we will pray that her soul rests in eternal peace.
